Default FRCCA announces New Title Partner

The Formula Race Car Club of America announced at its annual awards banquet that it has teamed up with the RAACE Foundation. RAACE will become the official charity of the FRCCA and will carry with it the 2011 series title. The series title will be named shortly.
The RAACE Foundation goals are to “Expose the hidden epidemic of child sexual abuse. It is impossible to effectively solve a problem if you don’t know it exists. As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, The RAACE Foundation works primarily to convey the fact that child sexual abuse exists at epidemic levels and is extremely prevalent within our society.” Further the second goal is to; “Educate parents in regards to the nature of the problem. At the RAACE Foundation, we agree that education about child sexual abuse is the foundation of both prevention and healing. Establishing and maintaining open, age appropriate communication with your child gives you the #1 defensive tool to protect them from becoming a victim of sexual abuse.”
Further details are available by contacting FRCCA headquarters or by going to www.raace.org
The FRCCA will be actively working with the RAACE Foundation to set up various functions during the year. These may include such things as raffles, to introduce “Kids Days at the Track” and other functions to be named later.
The FRCCA is excited to become part of the Foundation and hopes that it can help RAACE achieve their goals. Children are the future of our society and are a “resource” that needs to cared for and cultivated with care and respect, they are by far the most valuable and cherished gift we have. Children need to be allowed to be children, and to be allowed to grow and learn without the fear of abuse from older individuals. WE need to help educate the populous, we as individuals have that responsibility, at minimum.

The FRCCA has an outstanding record of helping. In the early '80's it was the "Say no to Drugs" program with Al Unser, Jr. Then after Scott Brayton passed, we help with his daughters education, we also help our own members if they are in trouble. We helped sponsor the Soap Box derby of Westchester, NY. The "Make-a-wish" children have been treated to rides in our special three seat racecar and now helping RAACE to bring attention to how many children are abused is something we all feel needs the public to be made aware of. One of our members even has his racecar painted to show support for the RAACE group. FRCCA has always liked to help! If you want to help call FRCCA at 570-669-9589.
