Default o6 van dieman Hillclimb zx1400

    Hi,
Im new to this site and its a wealth of knowledge!!
I have a 06 van dieman that I am wanting to convert to a zx1400 powered hillclimb car, lots of ideas from FB will work with my set up .
What I would really like to find is if somone has drawings or at a pinch photos of the rear end conversion, mainly pick up points ,I am hopeing to use all the vd suspension ,uprights, control arms ,ect.I have a Modena (torsen type)lsd unit that I would like to use instead of the more popular quaife ,but apart from that I would like to find somone who has done the rear end conversion on a 06 vd chassis.I have full workshop acsess and equipment includeing a very good fabricator!!!.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you should get one of Jay's kits and rework a couple of tubes in the center to allow the fitment of the larger engine.

Check this site out and make a call.

His fixturing is dead on. I did not even have to change allignment on on the rear suspension when I finished my conversion.

All the kits we have sold were for 1999 to 2003 VD chassis. However the kit will definitely fit on an 06 Van Diemen.

It would also need different engine mounts.

    Thanks ... Jay Novak

Default What transaxle make and model came out of your 06 VD?

If Hewland, then their site has dimensioned installation drawings that would probably get you halfway there.

Other brands may also provide the same for the asking.

    Rick
