2006 GSXR Spark Plugs

GSXR Service manual states there are 3 types of spark plugs for the 2006 GSXR 1000 engine.

NGK CR8E for hot
NGK CR9E for standard
NGK CR10E for cold.

What are most GXSR 1000 engine owners using?

Any thoughts on the NGK Iridium Spark Plugs or another brand.

I am getting ready to change the plugs.

This may be an old wives' tale, but I've heard when you use a nearly stock engine on the race track, you should go one step colder than street.

Decided to use the NGK CR9EIX Iridium plug at cost of about $10.00 each.

Reviews have been very good on these plugs.

Available at Motorcycle Superstore......via internet.
