Default Fuel Filter in Fuel Pump 2006 GXSR

    Perhaps someone can answer this.

Does the 2006 Suzuki GXSR 1000 have a fuel filter in the fuel pump?

Here's a page from the service manual showing the filters.

    Default Fuel Pump

    Richard,

Your Phoenix has a filter sock on the inlet of the in tank pump, and has a in-line filter out side of the tank.

The Stock GSXR fuel pump is housed in a filter, pressure regulator, molded assembly that does not well suited for a race car application.

How often should these filters be changed.

If they are dirty, what are the symptons with the performance to tell they need to be changed?
