    Default rookie needs advice

    I just purchased a 1975 D13 the car came with log books and is in very good shape
    I want to race at varius east coast tracks not sure if i should run vintage or formula vee and or what organzation to run with. main goal is to have fun

    You can do both. Depending on equipment and rules, it may not take a lot of prep. In SCCA you will have to have a fire system, fuel cell and have to comply with the existing rules for FV and general car prep issues. Prep issues may be roll bar size, seat belt age, etc.

    As a 1975, it may not be vintage compliant for some organizations. Many groups welcome newer cars without issue. Some are a bit cranky and require the cars be older. Hope this helps.

    Racing right in your area. I have my FV at many events with them. Lots of fun, and very low key. Great for a new guy!

    Ran my D-13 with the FRCCA and it was the best move I made yet, still with them running FF.
