    Default Sebring next month?

The DLB website seems to be messed up. I signed up for the Sebring races next month an I saw one set up guys now I see another. Jf I click on the calendar entry list I see:

Joe Fitos, Tom Beattie, Brandon Dixon and George Levien.

When I look at the entry list from "My races" is lists:

Me, Glen Coooper, Brett Lane and McLaughlin.

this is weird, two completely different groups? So who's going? if everyone above goes it's going to be a pretty good field, anyone else planning on going? How about Homestead, anyone? I can't even find the registration for DLB on Homestead, whats the deal?

When you click on the calendar list, make sure you're in 2011. That looks like the entry list from last year. A couple eagle-eyed readers caught that in my weekly F1000 newsletter.

The top list is from last year.

I don't think Brandon plans to start racing until the March double at Atlanta.

    Default Sebring Winternationals round 1

    Exciting race for the lead.

Looked like Cooper was going to walk off. Then McLaughlin reeled him in and got by.

    Did somebody mention Tom Beatie?

Car is painted up to look like a John Player Special, if you are old enough to remember.

Ralph said last night that McLaughlin got docked for passing under yellow. So maybe Coop got awarded the win.

Am I seeing different rear wings between qualy and race or is the Lasik starting to fail me as I get older?

New lower drag rear wing upper elements w/ set back end fences on the car as of Race 1.

    The pole time from Sunday's 2nd Q this morning is a 2:04.980.
I can't seem to get the grid sheet to print.

Aww, and here I thought they might have developed/been trying F1's new moving rear wing idea, where the wing is able to bend back to decrease drag.
As for the color change... umm, sunset reflecting maybe.
In all seriousness, great pics, keep the update coming

Small confession: I pulled that info off Coop's Facebook page...

It's tough to get good cub reporters these days.

Anybody know why Lane and Levien are not on the grid sheet?

Wasn't John Paul supposed to race in this event? I thought I read in an earlier post that he was going to part of this event. Early breakdown on the weekend or did not enter??

Coop said the only picture he wanted to see is one from Turn 10 where he was crashing the curbs and two wheeling it down the track.

Sorry, security wouldn't let us go there.

    Coop won Sunday looking comfy.

I didn't know that was still being kept up. Brandon set lap records last year at Homestead, Sebring, VIR, Road America, and RRR. Fastest timed lap at Road Atlanta, but no track record.

Congrats everyone! Well done for the RFR cars! The group was fun to watch though I was wishing I was in the races with you.

Again, nice showing and Good Luck in Homestead!

It is maintained, sort of. They don't actively, continuously research race results to see when records are broken. That's just not possible/reasonable. They rely on us to let them know when new records are set (or when their site has old or missing info).

I encourage you and others to review the current info on the site and send them an email if it needs updating.
