the guy that had the car since it was stolen, (1-1/2 years) decided it was time to sell the car? not a lot of these around so someone looked at the car, felt like the deal was too good, found out about APEXspeed saw the listing of my stolen car sent me a personal message, I got a hold of the Sheriff he did a "Knock and Seize" called me and I went and got my car!!! so cool many thanks to the guy that told me and many thanks to Sheriff for his efforts to go out during a basketball finals game night and get my car!!! Score up dates were given out on a regular basis that night. couldn't sleep very well that night! DID NOT THINK I WOULD SEE IT AGAIN!! funny part I got the motor back soon after it was stolen, feeling like I was not going to see the car again I traded motor off for another race car, the week before the phone call.... the guy was nice enough after hearing about me getting the car back that sold me my old motor so now I just have to clean up all the damage from the neglect that she received from the guys lack of knowledge on how to take care of and take apart the car. All is good I have her back!!

I think this may have been the very first recovery specifically due to the Stolen, Missing, Lost & Found forum here on ApexSpeed. I couldn't be happier that we put this up here for this community to use.

I think we're all really happy that you got your car back. It's great to read the story form the start to finish, with a truly happy ending.

Now, you need to post photos of the car the day it gets back on track in your own hands—that would complete the circle and be really great closure.

So I pulled out my drivers license and walked over to trailer with him. I pointed out my initials I had stamped in trailer and he said, hook it up, its yours!
I hook up trailer and drive off with trailer leaving shop owner and his wife waving their arms in the air!
