WANTED: Internet Ad Sales Manager

Can you sell internet advertising? ApexSpeed.com is seeking a part-time experienced web-savvy online advertising sales person to join our small team.

The ApexSpeed Ad Sales position is responsible for banner advertising sales to automotive and motorsports businesses worldwide. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships directly with related companies and advertising or marketing representatives. The main role will be to identify and pursue opportunities to increase advertising exposure in the forum community.

Because of the nature of this business, you must be able to work independently and be a self-motivated individual. We are looking for someone who can establish a consistent pipeline on a regular, consistent basis via new lead generation, identify clients’ needs and cultivate effective sales strategies via e-mail and/or phone, and profile and identify new potential marketing and advertising partners for ApexSpeed.com. The new Sales Manager MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well.

We are offering an uncapped and competitive commission structure for new and renewal advertising campaigns.

Must have some direct experience in at least one of the following:

• online ad sales, online marketing or online media buying
• online advertising management (ad serving) systems
• interactive sales or interactive agency media related work experience.
• search engine marketing or internet advertising metrics

Hehe, there are no ApexSpeed office locations, unless you count our kitchen table. All work would be satellite work, from wherever the Ad Manager prefers to set up shop.
