October 9-10 Blackhawk Race

I know I've been away for a while - been a crappy summer between the ignition problem on the car the closing of our law firm.

But I'm taking my car to a guy this week to try and resolve the ignition problem and assuming he's able to do so, will be trying to scrap up the $ to run the final SCCA regional at Blackhawk Oct 9-10.

Will any other FST's be at BFR or will I walk away with 4 first place trophys (it's a quad event I beleive).

Just wondering.

Also - any idea when the 2011 FST Series Schedule will be put together - need to start figuring out my budget and calendar.

As of the morning I'm still the only FST entry for the Fall Sprints at Blackhawk.

If anyone local who has an interest in FST or is in the process of converting a car, stop over and I'll be glad to talk with you about it.

LOL - well, if I'm the only FST, lets hope I can do ok huh? last time I looked our race group was up to about 8 cars - mostly FF and CFF, 3 FV, a gagle of F500 and little old me.

Actually I wish it was a little cooler - still worried some about the oil temps. Over the winter, in addition to the rear suspension and the data system, a major project will be the relocation of the oil cooler and some bodywork mods to duct things better.

But hey, they are mostly short races and it is going to be under 80 degrees, so whould be ok.
