Default Thanks

Russ; Thanks for your posts; I do not want to come across negitive BUT I do get frustrated when I see the formula racecar community going in so many different ways. It makes it hard to get the large groups of drivers in one event. I have witnessed 52 F/F at LRP (SCCA only allowed 38 to race!). I have also seen 140 formula cars at a FASTMASTER event at Pocono. But now with all the "Splinter" groups it seems like there are less attending any event. The end result seems like there are less formula cars. But let us count ALL the groups that race formula cars including the vintage groups and they should be at any formula car race. I wish the FRCCA was stronge enough to expand across the USA. But it is only a dream. I wish all the formula racecar drivers the best as they are racing thoroughbred racecars and we all know how troublesome thoroughbreds are. Good racing to "youse".

I agree, Clyde.

Down here in the southeast, SCCA is pretty much the only option for W2W racing (if you don't have a car eligible for vintage/historic). I went to some RCCA races yeas ago when I lived in CT (Thompson & Pocono). They were fun.

Default Fastmaster Ring

Mike; What year does the Ring have on it; I will check with AJ and/or the 'House" trophy. What was your "third" race that event? There were some strange ones to say the least!

Default NJMP

Back to NJMP. What is the rules on towing down the Garden State with a Motorhome/trailer combo. I have see all kinds of conflicting info on the internet. If I read the Offical NJ regs correctly no vehicales over 10,000 lbs allowed north of Exit 105 but I see Buses etc north of there all the time. Taking 287 all the way around from the Tappenzie will add a bunch of miles, May just go over the George Washington if I have to do that.

Default GS Parkway

I asked the people at the Turnpike authority the following question:

I have a pickup truck with a registered GVW of 9900 pounds. I also have a 32 foot trailer.
That combination looks like it fits within the allowed limits.
They said that it was OK. I drove the GS with no problems.
