Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I am going to sell FE #66. Maintained since new by HRB Sports (Bob Henson) in Kansas City, MO. 2 babies have eaten away all my racing money (literally). Will update with more info/pics in the next couple days. Feel free to PM me and I'll get you my contact info. Also wanting to sell my trailer and Sports Racer bodywork. Can run track days with the SR bodywork! Also IMSA Lites class. I would like to sell everything together but would sell trailer and SR body separately. Everything is at HRB Sports race shop in KC. I'll post more pics this weekend when I run up to KC. Thanks for all the great memories and hope to race with you guys again soon.

Sad to see you sell it, Jason... But glad it's coming to Chicago!!! Another one for the CenDiv. Just going over the cars in the area, we're looking at an easy 10 cars per race! The appeal of spec formula car racing in the area is gaining momentum!!

Chassis #66 has officially arrived in the Chicago Area!

Besides fulfilling a long held desire to have such a car, I consider myself fortunate to have met Jason in the process. What a great young man and I very much enjoyed interacting with him on this car transaction. Jason, you have a passion for racing and it shows through. I know you will be back.

Also, a race shop in a cave is a first for me and almost unbelievable.

At this time, I don't intend to race. I'll probably spend a couple of years doing track days and just enjoying getting to know the car. When I told this to Jason he was skeptical, suggesting that after a few times out the temptation may become just too great. We will see.

Thanks for the kind words guys. There isn't a better group of guys to help get you up and racing Steve. You'd have a blast. I think Steve Stadel with One Formula is your local CSR and is a really nice guy to boot. He's on ApexSpeed quite a bit.

Well, given my busy schedule the car I bought back in January has just recently gone to the race shop. Well, evidently when I picked up the car in Kansas City in January it had water in the radiator and not any antifreeze. The below zero night I spent just north of Kansas City froze everything up and popped the radiator cap. While I was hoping all the internals would be ok, I just got word that somethings cracked on the inside. OUCH. Here's a public service announcement to all people SELLING cars in winter; Please tell the buyer that the car can't stand leaving the race shop!

Many thanks for the "assistance" on the new engine.

The car went on track this weekend for the first time at Autobahn Country club in Joliet, Illinois. It performed very well and was super to drive.

Beau Martin and the guys at Elite Autosports did a great job. They are great guys to work with.

One question for you. I think I'm missing the center section (which includes the roll hoop cover) for the sports racer body. Would this still be in Bob's race shop?
