    Charles, Did any of the cars you mentioned above have the steering shaft running down between the clutch and brake pedals and therefore NOT allowing left foot braking?

    Glenn,

    I have no idea. I don't think that is a factor. I would guess that the majority of drivers do not left foot brake. In any event, it doesn't matter. The box must be in neutral with the clutch engaged before the magical "blip" so whether one brakes with the left or right foot is moot.

    I installed a very reliable gear position indicator on my car which was super handy, and would use the clutch when down shifting (you should see how thin the forks are in these boxes) but could go from 6th to 2nd for turns like 10a at road atlanta.
