Contingency Sponsors for the FF Showcase Nationals

Thanks to the following vendors for offering contingencies to the 4 FF Showcase Natioanls. We will follow Beeler's good approach at ensuring everyone has a chance at bringing home a contingency prize just by participating while also rewarding good performance. The contingencies for each race are:

• Fast Lap of the Race: $150 service or parts credit to Williams Racing Developments

• 12th place finisher: $50 service or parts credit to Williams Racing Developments

• Hard Charger Driver: $150 service or parts credit to Taylor Race Engineering (http://www.taylor-race.com/)

Pole Position and Raffle awards will be selected from the following:

• $75 product certificate from Continental Motorsports (http://www.continentalmotorsport.com/)

• Product coupon from Primus Racing Parts (http://www.primusracingparts.com)

• $100 product or service certificate from Williams Racing Development (http://willrace.com)

• $50 product or service certificate from Race Car Supply/SR Racing (http://www.sracing.com)

• Two tickets to an IRL race of the winner's choice (excluding the Indy 500) provided by Honda Performance Development (http://racing.honda.com/hpd)

• $50 product or service certificate from Porter Racing (http://www.porterracing.com)

Note the contingencies have been agreed to such that they are available only if there are 12 cars at the event.

I expect to have several other contingencies to add to the list before week's end and will update this list once they are confirmed.

Award will be given to the driver who improves his position from start to finish the most. Ties will go to the driver finishing higher. This will be in lieu of the most consistent laps award.

Yes, the sponsors agreed that to help build momentum and get this idea working that we would exclude that requirement for the first race. Thanks to them for that! But however the 12th place finisher award was not awarded...
