    Default Swift DB-1/3/6 Shift Lever

I am looking for recommendations regarding the replacement of the shift lever on my DB-1 (see attached images). The pivot hole on the 25 year-old OEM unit has elongated leading to large amount of play in the level itself. Prior to calling the FastForward, ProTech, and Porter seeking an OEM replacement, I would like to know what others have done when faced with this issue. That is, is this there a better option/upgrade that I should seek? Even if I stay with an OEM equal, I would like to at least update to an aluminum knob!

    Thanks,

Neil Porter repaired mine by installing bushings in the mounting holes. Simple and inexpensive.

Bushing existing or outright replacement with new design offered as alternatives. I'll post the final solution once implemented...

I'm currently putting a Piper billet shifter in my DB-1. Had you posted earlier I could have taken some pictures today. I won't be going back out to the track until next weekend.

Anybody have a small thin but not too tall shift knob for stock Swift lever?
