    Default Bell Star Classic

    Hi guys,

does anyone here have experience with the Bell Star Classic?
I've attached a picture below. It's basically a re-release of the first full-face style helmet but with a SA2005 approval.
It doesn't have any vents but then again they didn't have vents on the original one.

How hot does it get? What's wind buffeting like?

Also, does anyone know what it weighs? I can't seem to find specs anywhere.

    Thanks.

    Ciao,
    n.

    Default Helmet

    Hi TF

No info on this helmet, but I use an unvented full face Bell in a FC in Florida in the summer. Absolutely no issues with lack of vents. Or buffeting for that matter.

But then I always accused of having holes in my head so.....

John is tough, and he is so fast it doesn't take him as long to finish a race, so he doesn't have his helmet on as long as us mortals.
Besides, in Florida it is a "wet heat". in Vegas it is "dry heat".

OK, thanks guys. I haven't seen this helmet for sale in the US, just the UK. Either way, it has a period correct look and I thought that someone here might have one. I'll stick with my Arai for now.

    Ciao,
