    Default spy shots

OK so I have no shots yet, but I just saw the coolest looking new f1000 I've seen yet
the car is being built by philadelphia motor sports and no attention to detail has
been overlooked this car is stunning! and after some testing done early last week
it looks like this car is going to be fast right out of the box.
The guys at philly motor sports did a lot of r&d before they started putting this car
    together and it's paid off
If you've been thinking of buying an f1000 (which I now am having seen this car)
wait don't buy one until you've looked at this car
It looks like everything in-place for the car to viewed real soon so you won't have
    to wait to long .
however you will be in line behind me!!!!

Usually, a thread entitled "spy shots" actually contains spy shots.

How close is it to this design?:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...wow that's one weird looking FF. Hope they leave the sharks teeth off the FB.

Seeing the 4 lug (Revolution?) wheels makes me wonder if they built it years ago.

In the second shot, is the upper element collapsing/flexing or just designed that way?

The rumor I heard was Rd Atl this weekend. There are 6 FB's pre-registered, but not a Philly Motorsport car.

Then again, they might be going to a west coast race since they are one of the supporting manufacturers of that series.

If you have never raced Pacific, you're in for a real experience. It's a throwback 2.25 mile track from the 1970's with a very, very technical back side, highly challenging (pedal to the floor) sweeper on to the front straight that has 2 flat out kinks and a "carousel" T-2 at the end. Plus a 135 foot elevation change that happens fast down (in to a hairpin with escape road) and a climb back up. Take the escape road and it will cost you 10 to 15 seconds at the Stop Sign once you get there.

Entry list was updated this morning. FB is turning in to a "CAN-AM" challenge!

    Belling - Firman - Canada
    Obderndorf - Stohr - Canada
    Archer - Stohr - Canada

    Palmer - Stohr - USA
    Pancea - Stohr - USA

Need some more USA cars! No sign of a Philly based car entered, yet.

FB's are in Group 1 which won't be too big. Updated this AM:

    FA's - 3
    FB's - 5
    FM's - 3
    C/SR - 1
    D/SR - 1

Oberndorf holds that track record in FB at 1:20.51 which he set last year running against Jaremko in the Phoenix and 4 others. But we have some highly experienced and track knowledgable FA's and FM's in the field that are capable of running within 1 to 1.5 seconds of that time. Will take some driving to break away from them. If Rennie Clayton comes up in FA he will add to the over all win challenge holding the FA lap record at 1:18.34.

    P.S.
EASE in to getting up to speed in T-5. It has a bad habit of eating formula cars during the Double National. Strickly a track knowledge thing. Tricky corner and you don't want to be at a speed where you are forced to lift at or just after the apex.
