Yes, running 2 Enduros a year, all our drivers realize you don't win it in the 1st 60 seconds of the event

    Cooley,

Wish I had known this before the event. A live web cam feed from the Portland track. Wonder if they leave it on during major events. T-12 and on the straight from the pedestrian bridge:

Yeah, I found that late in the race after it had dried back out.

Next year plans are already in motion. Bigger motor and hoo-hoos.

In that case you have to have some way of keeping the rows separated. Drivers will always move up as close as they can to the car in front. Unless, of course, you have a lot of start judges watching each row.

Larry, the use of start judges (no disrespect intended) is one of the dumbest thingas to invade SCCA racing. It is so difficult to accurately see what is going on from the non vantage point that they have at most tracks.
Don't know about other tracks, but as the Starter at Memphis, the start judge (always an operating Steward) would be on the starter's stand with me and would have an excellent view.

The idea that you can not move out of line to see what is going on is also absurd. As long as you do not move up before the green it should be allowed in the name of safety.
Every track I've been to the rules are very clear that if you are more than 50% displaced you are judged to be out of line. With no limits you will have cars spread all the way across the track leading to, IMO, a more dangerous situation.
