    Default New car build

Ok, I've been out of it way too long and if I don't start building another car real soon I'm going to wither and die!

I want to do a DSR, but a little too costly right now and the shop is still getting up to speed. That leaves Sports Racer Lite (F600), FV, or FST. The 600 would be lots of fun and I think this will be very popular, but I have no parts to start with. I do have a bunch of Vee parts, and mucho experience with Vees, plus I already have a new design that's been clanging around in my head for years. How many Firsts are out there running? I haven't seen one up close yet...

    Decisions, decisions!

    Default fv or fst..

Depends on where in VA you are.

FST is pretty popular in CENDIV since that is where they got started,

Not many FST in SEDIV yet. Garry Sharpe runs out of the Atlanta area, I am building a FST (slowly) and also am in the Atlanta area.

Don't know about FL or NEDIV.

If you can race at the CENDIV tracks, and want Regional only, then FST is a good choice.

If you want both Regional and National or just want to race against other people in the same class all over the country, then FV would be the one to choose based on your list.

I have most of the FST-specific parts required to build a FST car for sale. See my ad in the FST classifieds section. Thanks!
