Ok, I know it's 70 plus days away but who's going to be running FB at the ARRC in November??
We're all set to go, cars completly back together and dollars have been allocated.
So who's in??

Planning to attend and race. I need to uphold my reigning crown (Hard Luck Award). It may be embarassing when the grid sheets are posted, but I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Steve Oseth will be there in our new Quicksilver RFR

I'm trying! Find me a motorhome!
My wife says she'll come if we splurge and get a nice hotel while there for one night. Looks like I'm getting off easy.

Ya beat me to it! I was this close to starting this thread.
Yeah, I'll be there.

PS Now all we need is about 20 cars to get our own race.
(and Butch should be chimin' in right about now...)
I'll be there.
Even tho we still haven't got it fully sorted out, We plan to be there with our Novak conversion..... baring any catastrophies between now and then.

We will be there!
Way to get the momentum building started early!
Barring any unexpected racing expenses in the next 2 months, I will be there with my Elan DP-04.
Who's in charge of the beer and dancing girls?
Tom
I believe John Zucarelli, RE of FLA region, and formula car driver has a contact for dancing girls.
He has promised some for the Winter Nationals at Sebring and Homestead.
Maybe he can do the same for the ARRC?
We're almost half way to 20 entries, maybe we can get our own race after all?...
GC
I have a line on a possible motorhome! Odds are looking good to make the ARRC. Is there a test day beforehand?
We will be attending as well.

Life is what happens to you while you're planning on doing something else!
Yes. Usually somewhere around $225-$250 for the full day, and the fee is pro-rated. They look to see how many sessions have run when you buy the ticket. For example, If two of five have run, they charge 60% for the remaining sessions.
Of course, the morning sessions are usually a lot more productive. The afternoon sessions tend to be the ones with more flags and early checkers.
That Citation will be fast enough. You don't need no stinkin test sessions.

Are there any requirements in order to run? I may bring my toy and run it as an ASR. What do ya think Coop? [Dam , do you have any chain left?,,,,,, now if I only had a brain,,,,]........bob
If there's anything left after the Barber race I'll be there.
Jerry
Russ, besides what I've played on video games, I'd like to learn the track. That Citation will be fast enough. You don't need no stinkin test sessions.
Ok, I see several replies that I would have expected to see on this post by now. Are all the F1000 boys asleep or out of $$$ or both.
Come on lets get 20 cars on the grid for this ARRC.....and for those that have never driven Road Atlanta it's not really a tough place to figure out.
Oh, and for you guys in the Pacific N/W I'll donate a six pack of Corona's to each one of you that make the tow....I'll even supply the limes.

We may be there in a one or 2 car fashion.
Will no more after some brief testing shortly.
I'm afraid I may not be there (with my car) - it's been a tough year $$$ wise but things are looking up! Roll on 2010.
Team Coopsport can not survive w/ only 1/2 of us there!
If we put out heads together, I know we can get THE local F Thou guy the on th grid.
I don't want you to have deal with the future effects of you not being there.
I mean what's gonna cost more in the end?
A set of tires and entry fee, OR years (at best) of intensive psycho-therapy?
How would you be able to sleep, huh? Had you thought about that?
We take an early AM test day session, and there you are, mere miles from the track, twisting and turning in bed, torturing yourself having to listen to us rip around, counting each blip of the throttle as we change down, hard on the brakes into T10.
You think you're gonna miss this thing? I think not. Let's put our heads together and make it happen. Call me.
Big Bro G
Nice Belling...I'll have them chilled for you. Can't wait to see those Suz. 09 powered RFR's.
I won't miss this thing for nothin'. Missed it last year with a clutch problem.
This year biz. sucks arse in the machine shop biz so I'm down to mowing lawns and recycling cans for my tire fund....LOL

If we can make it happen, we'll be there again. The first two were a blast! But we wont know for a little while yet.
The bank account is on empty, but the heart (and VISA card) are willing
I will see you guys there. And if there is anyone on the fence, two words... DO IT!
As Coop says you will regret it otherwise, years of counsiling yadda yadda yadda...
Sean
Car should be finished within the next month, so....
First race for the car would be at Sebring in October, then planned on Moroso and Sebring back to back weekends.
Or just go to the ARRC with one race on the car instead. Either way, I won't have the minimum races to renew my Nat license.
Hmmm..
Brett, as indicated above, there are a lot of reasons you would enjoy being at the ARRC. It's going to be another great gathering of many various F1000 cars. I hope I'm not head down in the engine bay all weekend and can walk around and enjoy it all. I can't wait to see the cars I've been hearing about for months & years. Mainly I'm working on my head so I'm not crushed with my lap times compared to the many great drivers there.
It has been my experience that divisional licensing chairmen are pretty open to regranting national licenses if you're convincing with compelling arguments.
Racer Russ

A National license is not required for running the ARRC.
Of course that does not imply that folks w/o experience should just roll up and pay the fee. The way I see it if we have some returning drivers getting back in and they have the miles neccessary under their belt to be worthy of an entry - DO IT!
GC
Definitely looking forward to it, but that all depends on the first outing at Sebring in October.
Brett
omg thats beautiful
I should be able to make it.
So if this list is acurate we have 17 already, if I counted correctly. We might just make it !!!

We'd love to be there, but it will be a last minute call when we see how Chris's school and work schedules are shaping up.

I'd love to make it as well but am going to do the quad nationals in January instead. Work calls me to Europe during the time of the ARRC and with 4-5k to play with I would rather help the car count next year by piling up some big numbers early down in Florida.
