Talent usually ends up in front, but fun goes from the front of the grid all the way to the back.

Give me an hour, I'll post what I have form T6. Because it was during lunch, there might not be a lot of people who were prepared to be photographing the cars on the track.

    Default Parade ???

I wanted to watch, especially to see Gibs car do some laps, but we were behind and doing lots on two cars,

At one point I glanced over towards 5, wishing I was watching, seeing a car flying up the hill towards six, brake and disappear at speed around the corner.

I thought outloud: 'that doesn't look like a parade'

How'd it go? Theres got to be some stories to go with the pics.........................

Thanks Doug. I am putting to gether a scrap book of the event, and my shots of the parade are not very good. Of note, much of my 35mm did not develpe well, so my scrap book features a lot of your work. I appreciate your making them available so generously. Eventually I'd really like to get names and car makes/models to ID each of the cars, like a color appendix to the book 'Anatomy and Development of the Formula Ford Race Car.' I hope I get to share it with you someday. Jim

Cool! I'd love to see it sometime. I have more coming, but until ApexSpeed is my primary source of income, it's lower down in the pecking order than I would like.

For now, here are the shots form the Parade of Champions, shot from behind the bridge in T6. What a spectacle to see. I have the list of who was in what car somewhere, but if someone else can post it, it would save me from having to dig through my notes.

Road America, Central Region CAT Nationals : Sunday, July 26 : Formula Ford, Parade of Champions

A few from the aforementioned gallery... enjoy!
