    Default Blugrass race canceled

From the Western Ohio Region (SCCA) website:

"Due to circumstances outside their control, the SCCA WOR board regrettably announce that its scheduled race meeting at Bluegrass on September 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2009 is cancelled."

Too late to add a replacement to the EWC schedule for 2009? M-O on 5-6 Sept is the only event left in GLDiv.

    Dave,

The OVR Mid-Ohio race is on September 5 & 6.

That would be the only real replacement choice for the EWC guys (IMO)

The October race at M-O is already an EWC event.

    Default No EWC Schedule Changes

I've put some thought into replacing the BlueGrass event on the EWC calendar with the September 5-6 Mid-Ohio weekend and have decided not to. Here's the reasoning:

The car count for the August 22-23 EWC weekend at The Milwaukee Mile looks like it will be low. Mid-Ohio is only two weeks later and I don't want people choosing between the two events. If you have recovered from the FF40th (financially and emotionally) and are ready to race, please go to Milwaukee.

Default What about the Glen Sept 12/13

Haven't checked the rest of your EWC calendar but a replacement that could be a bit of history for your series is come over to the Fun One. Normally decent FF CF turnout and a really great double race weekend. Long Course on Saturday (Q and R) and then short course on Sunday for some pedal to the metal 100+ MPH average laps deep into the field
