    Default Grattan Prize Drawing Winners

In all the excitement leading up to the FF40th, I somehow managed to misplace (lose?) my notes with the Grattan EWC Saturday evening prize drawing winners. So I need some help. If you remember winning something, please post it here or send me an e-mail. With a little luck, perhaps I can reconstruct what happened prior to The Milwaukee Mile.

    Many thanks in advance...

Is that some type of pasta dish?

Actually, Allen, didn't you win a little tree shaped smelly thing?

....oh, no, that was just me dreaming of a happier place.....

Congrats on the Grattan National - I hear you picked up some points. Enough for runoff potential??

    Mike,

That's much more valuable to me than some stupid Italian car after hanging around in a driving suit on a hot humid day. ;-)

Thanks, Grattan was tough. We went back to 35s for test day, and the car handled quite differently. I went out in front of Reid early on and the tail felt a little overeager. Went into the salad bowl and found myself looking straight at Reid as he entered. He's got video of us waving to each other.

The race was fun, though. Nick worked really hard to get the car handling on 35s, but we put 25s on for qualifying, and the back of the car stopped trying to get to the front. I think about lap 13, after Reid, Dave McGinnis, and I had been passing back and forth since the start, Reid got too much of a gap for me to make up. I was driving kind of ragged anyway, and pretty sure I was going to throw the car into one of those ponds at some point, so I slowed down and just ran around in position to get those 3 little points for sure!

Are you going to the Mile?

    Allen
