Default Q1 Times from the 40th

Well, if you didnt think that they would actually have 110 cars on the track at once, guess again. There were exactly 110 cars in Q1 for the CF - Regional race. There were 87 cars for Q1 for the National. For both sessions, the last cars onto the track were entering just as the first cars to go out came down the straight for the start of lap one. It took almost 4 minutes to clear the false grid.

Lots of people did not get any clean laps, but the driving was fantastic, lots of point-bys and everyone being very respectful of the number of cars out there and the fact that cars were going all kinds of different speeds.

They didnt pass out qualifying sheets so my son TJ just wrote down top ten for each group real quick. Note that Tim Kautz was on pole for the National but may have been disqualified for tail pipe infringement, not sure if the penalty was upheld but his times were taken off the sheet. John Robinson we heard broke a swaybar, was in 16th or so, I am sure he will move up tomorrow. Mike Sauce blew an engine early in practice. Tim Dunn was fast in practice but also had problems, his car was split in half.

    Nationals

    Jeremy Treadway 2:23.49

So... why does the fiberglass side of my motorhome that is facing west seem to be dissolving? ahhh, the sweet smell of C-44 in the afternoon.

    Frog,
There certainly is some C-44 going around. It is unfortunate. Anyone at the track is more than welcome to come sniff our fuel in the trailer or in the car. As I stated all along, we are running the race gas provided at the track. You don't have to use exotic stuff to be fast.

are there any other times? what about the vintage cars? I saw pictures of a few cars/people I recognize that were not listed. Were there other sessions other than what is posted here?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm pretty sure there is a vintage FF group, and I'm interested in seeing how my buddy is doing. Maybe it's a non-SCCA race?
