I-94 or I-294 if coming from the south to WI?

I haven't been south to north in a year or so...

Coming from I-65 - should I take I-94 north thru downtown, or take I-294 around? It'll be around noon tomorrow.

I'll be in the truck with no trailer (and I have an i-pass).

Take the Tri-state. The further away form the city you can be during the day, the better.

If its before 300pm, going through chi 94 is ok, the construction on 94 until gurnee is fine before rush hour, later

I take I-94 to US 41. You might hit lights and some stuff but it can be faster then taking I-94 after the merge with 294. It all depends on the time of the day. By 4:30 last week I-94 after the spur was slow as hell due to construction and morons on the road.

Stay in i294 express lanes or take 94!! Bad wreck near lake cook at 1 ct
