    Default Suzuki GSXR1000 CAD model

CAD model available in .stp (4M) or Solidworks 2004 (13M) or .3dm (7M).
Many shapes simplified but the widths, height, trumpets, exhaust ports, rear engine mounts are pretty accurate. 2007 side engine mounts probably off by .050"
Would appreciate trades for other CAD models, what have you?
If you improve the model - please let us have your changes.
Otherwise it's free, or when I get around to responding.

Sent you an email, would like to get a copy of the files... unfortunately the only significant piece that I have that be worth modeling happens do be a diff out of one of your old cars, so probably not of much interest!

This is the one I'm using in my F600 model on a temporary basis - be ready to throw it the hell out if it turns out to be inaccurate:

sorry to intrude in this GSXR1000 thread, but would anyone have a 2008+ GSXR1300 engine cad/solidworks model? I had found one a few years back but it was fairly inacurate in the positioning of many crucial mounting points, which makes it not very useful!

Someone might have a more accurate one by now.

    Thanks

Sent you an email Lee. If I can get the file I'll work on it in Pro-E and see if I can improve it. Once I do that I can give it back to anyone that wants it.

So if anyone has the file can you send it to me?

Thomas Copeland-- you had any chance to update the model?

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hello everybody,

I know this thread is a bit old now, but can somebody send an accurate engine cad model (iges if possible?)
I am starting the design of a car (basically a Formula 1000) and I cannot fin any accurate date for the engine. I would like to define the rear framing of the car and the suspension fittings, but I cannot specify the lateral position of the engine, and the center line of the differential.
Here is my adress : dedge.design@gmail.com

    Thanks a lot!

I have Lee Stohr's Cad Model off of Grab-Cad but it came in 1/14 scale. Can't seem to find a means to "Re-scale" an entire assembly in solidworks

am I missing some thing ?

I got the model directly from Lee, and everything imported correctly. There must be a problem with the GrabCad model. Solidworks has a scale function, but it may only work on parts.
