Default First Look at Grattan EWC Entries

I turned the EWC driver recruiting machine on this weekend...and here's what it has come up with so far:

Phil Kingham, Zink Z-10C, CFF, E
Dave Harmison, Royale RP-21, CFF, E
Joe Marcinski, Tiga FFA-78, CFF, E
Steve Beeler, Lola T-540, CFF, E
    Dave McGinnis, Vector, FF, E
Paul Quiniff, Lola T-540, CFF, W

There are still many, many drivers that have not checked in. If you are going to be at the May 23-24 Grattan EWC openers (and you should be), please let me know. Grattan, in addition to being serious challenge in a FF1600, is also a great tune-up for Road America and the FF40th.

Watch the space as more drivers are added to the Gratan entry list.

    Default 6 + 2 = 8

Two more drivers have checked in for the May 23-24 EWC openers at Grattan:

Chuck Smith, Tiga FFA-81, CFF, E
Allen Wheatcroft, Van Diemen RF98K, FF, W

Enter early and enter often...everyone wins when car counts are up.

    Default 8 + 2 = 10

My sources tell me that Andy Brumbaugh (Crossle 35F) and Jason Byers (Crossle 31F) will be using the Grattan EWC weekend to prep for the FF40th. That would bring our total FF/CFF car count to 10 with 21 days still remaining until the Friday test day.

I just printed out the entry form and will be mailing it soon. I look forward to running Grattan with the EWC group.

Steve, just a little correction, the car is a 31F (2.0L) converted to a 30F.

    Default 10 + 1 = 11

Mike Green has also entered bringing the total of confirmed entries to 11. I know of three more fence sitters who may or may not be at Grattan. Regardless, at least eleven of us are going to have a good "spring training" weekend for the Ff40th.

I'll remind everyone again prior to next weekend, but let's hold the Saturday EWC prize drawing at impound immediately after Saturday's race.

    Default Prize Drawing

Last reminder: the Grattan EWC prize drawing will be held at impound after Saturday's race. Regardless of where you finish, you've still got a good chance to win a nice goodie.

I am almost loaded up...see everyone at the Friday test day?

    Default EWC Posters

I'll also have the 2008 EWC posters with me for drivers who did not get one last fall. Please stop by my trailer...
