Luck has gone my way and my car is together. I plan on doing a regional at blackhawk in a couple weeks and if everything goes well, I plan on being at the 40th!

As SCCA's most recent FF National Champion we sure hope Chris will be at the 40th. He can meet a whole lot of past National Champs going back ti Skip Barber who won back to back in 1969 and 1970, Jim Harrell who won in 1971, and a host of others, including, but I know I'll miss a name, RK Smith, Bob Lobenberg, David Loring, Keith Nunes, Tony Kester, Tommy Schweitz, Dave Weitzenhof, the entire Ferret Industries gang etc etc etc as well as loonies like Bruce MacInnes, Frank DelVecchio, Kip Laughlin, ad nauseum.
Hopefully Chris will wind up in a car, and if not at least be there to take part.

    Default Happy fuel

I'm probably on the wrong thread, but that's pretty normal for me. I have heard thru the infamous grapevine that quite a few CF guys are planning to run happy fuel at this event, and that is total BS in my opinion.
I thought there was conversation earlier about limiting fuel to 100 AV gas, right? I am not going to be at the front no matter what, but the 40 or 50 buck a gallon fuel for this sort of event is incredibly stupid, and unethical in my, again, personal opinion.
Is there anyway we can police this and stop the insanity?

I think you want this thread -

That the same ethical note - if I decide to run R35's in vintage/FF70 - is that wrong?

Slicks are the standard tire for Monoposto FF70 vintage CFF, so how could it be wrong?

Default Last Minute, but I'll be there!

    Hi Folks,

I didn't think I would be able to pull it off, but the racing gods worked their magic, and I will be attending the 40th! It will be my first time at RA. Hopefully, we can organize a photo for the Titans that attend? I look forward to meeting everyone in less than a week!

In regards to the list on page 1:

I will be entering Group 9B as a 2nd entry at Registration on Wednesday. I can confirm that Tony Cove (#88 Blue 1980 Crossle 40F) is doing the same.

Woooo hoooo. Can't believe we got everything done!!! We are loaded, and heading out in an hour. This is going to be a blast. I cannot wait to see some old friends. Jay Ivey, Kester, Jason, Tony Stef., Don Sieven., Reinhart, Fred Cummings ... it goes on forever. Wish Bruce could be there. I will see everyone soon.

Default Looking for trailer space - Road America to California after race

Hey guys, hope everybody has a great weekend, sounds fantastic!!

I'm looking for a ride for an FF from the race back to the Los Angeles area. Close by (San Diego, Northern Cal, AZ) would be good also.

So if you have some extra room in your trailer and want to put some $$ back in the till, let me know! Pass the word around!

    Thanks,
