What car and what size calipers are you running? Some cars use different size front and rear calipers and what works for them can be different from what works for a car with the same size front and rear calipers.
Most people use slightly different size MC's so the balance bar in the brake pedal ends up closer to square with the pedal under braking.
No matter what size master cylinders you use, the balance bar should always be square to the pedals (parallel to bulkhead) under braking. Adjusting the cylinder push rods will do this.
Gentlemen,
This is a simple question.
I asked for the time and you are telling me how to build the clock.
If you do not know the answer don't dilute the question.
If you want to know the time, let us know what time zone. If you want to know what master cylinder size, without us all going into what type car we have and it's caliper sizes, tell us about your car....as asked in the first response. As for clutch master size, the same goes.
Front .75
Rear .75
Clutch .75
Isn't that a ton of help? Asked and answered.
I have three cars.
Car A: front - 7/8", rear .70", Clutch 5/8"
Car B: front - 3-4", rear - 3/4", clutch 5/8"
Car C: front - 5/8", rear 3/4", Clutch 3/4"
The cars have all different combination's of calipers and slave cylinders and pedal ratio's.
Hope this helps.
Brian
Thanks,
That is the type of answer I needed.
Geezz ! We have another winner guys .
Folks who ask questions and then criticize the answers . Need help and then flame the helpers .
Another simpleton asking complex questions who can't grasp more than three syllables .
Nice .
