    Default Pi C-Dash installation

    Howdy
I have a bunch of Pi data logging bits, and a C-Dash, and I'm trying to sort out how, exactly, the dash attaches to the steering wheel. I have one bracket that lines up with the bolt holes in my wheel, but I can't quite suss out how the bracket attaches to the dash. Does anyone have access to their car and can take a couple pictures of the back of the dash and how its mounted to the wheel?

    Thanks in advance.

It attaches with several (three or 4, I forget which) rubber vibration mounts. they look like these http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/gro...ID=HARDVIBRATE but are a metric thread. I bought some from Spaenaur, knowing me I bought extras so if you don't have any luck I can probably send you some.

Cool, that explains it. I've got a bunch of them in various sizes around here somewhere.

    Thanks

    Default Must isolated from ground

If you are breaking your electrical system by interruping the ground to the chassis/engine ie MS. The PI book states that the dash must be isolated from chassis, yes the steering wheel is chassis. Believe me it took several races to figure the problem out.

Ah, good to know... obvious now that it would be grounded, but then again, I probably wouldnt have thought so.

    Thanks
