There is a rumor coming out of the UK that Van Dieman has been sold to Fluid Motorsports a current Formula Three Team. Anybody have any news?

Yup, that is correct, does not mean much to anyone here though. Ralph Firman the original owner was just here in Florida for the last week. He mentioned that he spoke with Lindsey of Fluid and he has assumed control of the Uk and FF on the Continent.
I guess the boys in Atlanta will handle all things over here.
Kind of sad really, a super company for many years if you count F mazda ,it pumped out over 700 racing cars into this country. Not much left but the name. Jon
It is a shame. Van Diemen was once the worlds biggest producer of race cars. Since it's take over and subsequent management by Elan it is now a shadow of its former self.............
With this split will the current method of supplying the same chassis across the pond continue or will there be different chassis due to different design groups?
What impact will this have on the Enterprise and IMSA Lite cars?

As I said, won't be any effect over hear or anywhere else for that mattter, just maybe taking with different people as a result.
Things have not crossed over for many years, the stuff is made in many different places these days.
Can't see how Enterprises or IMSA Lites would be effected as long as Elan is still there.
Hi Ben,yea I can agree with your comment, shows how good the company was and the products though it took a lot of hits in the last 8 years.
Well RFR is the same group of folks that built Van Diemen so there is something to look forward to. Jon
