Thanks guys. It was a fun weekend.

I only wish Coop and Joe would have had better luck so we could have all raced together.

    Default Great to see cars.

It is really great to see more cars attending. It is also a pleasure to help others as needed. That is what makes our selected sandbox a fun place. I do not lurk here to deal in rumor, I am always available for legit questions, and at the Florida nationals I fielded a lot. Let's get more folks out there. Alan

These races went by without much hoopla....anyone care to share some details?

Was the Ralph Firman car there? I didn't see any mention of it.

    What happened to Giancarlo Coopola?

The lap times for FB were off where I would expect them...I'm guessing these were new cars with new drivers?

Hopefully someone has some more info....

    Default Sebring

I ran into technical difficulties on the friday test day, packed up sat morning and went home.

Anyone heading to Sebring in the future, call the hotel at the track - 4 Points by Sheraton / Chateau Elan. The website said booked up, but when we arrived, rooms were avail for $112. It's well worth the extra coin you'd drop at the Econo Lodge ($80.00-ish), and is located just inside T6/Hairpin.
Also, If you are not a Vegetarian, The Hole in the Wall restaurant on US27 (just North of the road to the track) has incredible steaks, and the seared tuna appitizer was F'ing Incredible. The place looks quite dumpish from the highway, the door is not facing the road, parking lot is on the side - it looks empty, but it's allways rockin'...

PS Congrats to my old FM buddy Tom Beattie for the FB win.

Our car ran perfect all three races.

From the grandstands, I think the lap times were affected by the track itself, traffic, and dbl yellows with offs in several spots. I'm not sure they even got into a groove before the yellows started.

Joe had a chain break and dif issue, otherwise not sure of any other issues. Missed Coop.

Default Was the RFR Chassis a No Show?

    Hi Bill-
So I assume the new RFR Chassis was a No Show? If so that seems odd....thought those guys were all on top of things.

I'm also interested in what problems were encountered......anybody that was there please chime in.

    Thx
