    Default Michael Andretti FF

Found someone selling Michael Andretti's Lola FF 640 from the late 1970's.

Its currently painted in the current owners colors.

Am interested in purchasing and restoring to the Andretti colors.

Anyone have, know where I can get a picture of this Lola as driven by Andretti?????

The topic of Michael Andretti and his numerous FF's came up not long ago. The particular car in question was a Van Diemen but in the postings this was mentioned:

From what I can gather the car was always faster with Michael in it than I ever was, go figure.

I bought the car from a couple of guys in Michigan, Frank Vella and Anders LNU. Sold it 2 years later to Kenny Stone, whereabouts now unknown, although I suspect it is still racing somewhere. The chassis was # 26.

    Comp89,

Sorry, that's a Lola 540. Lil' Mikey had one of those too!

    SOLUTION:
Call Michael and tell him (or leave a message) that you have his Lola 640 and you're restoring it. Ask for a picture

Or, stop by their car wash near Allentown, PA. Mario is often hanging around. For some reason every time I went in there, he was drying cars. Go figure.
