Silverstone was bl00dy freezing yesterday!! Both the American kids drove really really well - Josef Neugarden was the class on the field - but dropped it twice in the final. That boy has some engine in the back of the car. Graham Carroll then led - and similarly dropped it under no pressure... That left Mike Vergers/Pete Dempsey/Conor Daly all in the mix for the win after a late safety car.... Daly's rolling start experience paid - and he simply walked away for the a last few laps. Great drive - both the American kids looked very good in what was very English weather.

Prenderville was out in the new Van Diemen - not sure where he finished (at a guess somewhere around the top ten) - but drove well if not ultimately on the pace.

    Great weekend's racing.

Default Why not? - treaded tires for FF -

OK - I don't mean to hijack this thread, but

I know this has been hashed out before, and I haven't paid *that* close attention to the thread, and I know Joey Foster is a shoe and could carry a washing machine to the front of an FF grid, but my god he was driving an RF78 to a top ten in the Walter Hayes. For the sake of inclusion and making older cars competitive, why wouldn't the FF community re-consider the use of treaded DOT tires on a universal basis?

Good on Conor, Doug and Josef for their showing.
    Ron
