If you dont get the skin done today we'll update again after Road Atlanta in a few weeks and then hold those constant for the rest of the year. I apologize for moving the date up to today for everyone to have their skins done.

I will have the skin download pack posted by 6pm CST tonight so folks can download it and get it installed and tested on the server before the 8pm CST race.

O.K. I stink, but I think I can participate tonight. I won't be able to make every event, but it looks like fun. What do I need to do besides show up tonight on the server about 7:45?

Do I need a custom skin, if so, I'm screwed, because I don't have Photoshop.

I've got his skin done, just waiting for his approval then I'll upload it to the FTP site.

Nope, you don't need a custom skin Ian. It just becomes an issue if anyone else picks the same default skin you do due to the dedicated pit stalls. If you notice you're dropped on top of someone else or someone else is dropped on top of you when starting the warmup session then exit out and pick a different skin. Ian welcome to the club man! I will have 30 skins available in the pack we will use so everyone will be able to find one they want to use.

Bob when you get approval get that baby uploaded so I can get this zip file out there for people to download.

The skins package is posted here: http://www.trackpedia.com/rFactor/trackpedia.zip Download it and unzip it/extract it to D:\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\SRF\Teams where D:\rFactor is the directory you have rFactor installed in. This is typically C:\Program Files\rFactor if you took the defaults for install.

If anyone has any problems please post here ASAP and I will work with you to get them resolved. Keith will have the server functional around 6:30 CST for testing to begin if you are interested in making sure your skin works on the server.

That was fun. Parked it early when I screwed up the pitstop. Afer I got ionto the pit stall, did nto know what to do next.

Figured I did not to be in the way while gettign lapped as everytime someone tried to pass me, my system would freezeup for a second or two.

Weird so once you were in your red pit stall nothing happened? They should have lifted your cars up and changes tires and stuff.

Maybe they were on one of those infamous European work stopages. Protesting thier beer being too cold?

Yea, the versions between the server and what you can download are different. Keith sez he should be able to fix it around lunchtime.

Does rFactor have a Star Mazda series?

No, the F3 is the closest car to that. iRacing does have the Pro Mazda cars though.

Hi Cameron! Good news is that you can still join the league if you'd like. The bad news is that we're going on the 6th race already of the league. We drop 5 races so you would still be ok if you didn't miss one. All league info is posted over on the Trackpedia.com forums.

The server is set up to run the v2.2 SRF mod at:

rFactor Server Name: ApexSpeed
Address: keithcarter.homeip.net
Password: rfactor

• The mod we will be using is SRF v2.2.
• Most (if not all) of the tracks we will be using can be downloaded from here.
• The current track we're hotlapping on is Autobahn North.
• The hotlap practice times being run at Autobahn North Course can be found here.

Hope this helps. Come and join us this fall, this mod will be great for competitive racing!

Is anyone able to log in and race/ hot lap or does it have to be by invite?
And is this still the appropriate login info with the excepton of the car and track?

You should be able to enter the server on your own. You will not be able to find it on the list of open servers, but you will have to manually enter the information, and it will come up for you.

If I get a few minutes this evening, I might dust off the wheel and pedals and fire up the laptop in Pee Cee mode for a few laps at HPT.
