I'll post the contingency award winners, prize drawing winner, and point standings in a day or so.

I've gotten a few calls and e-mails about my Sunday race mis-adventure. Here's a quick summary...

I got bumped going into Turn 1 at the start but it was only (I thought at the time) a love tap so I pushed on. After passing a CFC car heading up towards the chicane, I checked my mirrors and noticed that the left rear tire looked like it had quite a bit of positive camber. Hmmm...maybe that was more than a love tap? I started staring at the tire in my mirror after the keyhole and before fourth gear somehow managed to convince myself that something was bent and about to break. I put my left arm up in the air and pulled out of everyone's way. I then drove the car slowly back to the paddock and found... nothing! Clearly, this was not one of my finest moments at the race track. I packed up as fast as I could and left the track mad. After about an hour and a stop at Burger King, I could laugh a little bit about my delusions.

See everyone at Road America in 28 days and counting...

    Default Thanks Steve

Thanks Steve for another great EWC weekend, a few of us would
have preferred better performances but it was still great to see everyone and meet a few more. Sorry to hear of your misadventure - chalk it up to the effects of a parabolic mirror - yeah that's it!

Great racing with you on Saturday, that's some of the most fun I've had racing in years! Now to find some parts...

    thanks

    Joe
