For Sale SOLD: Red Devil T-2000 Parts/Project Car

    SOLD
    SOLD
    SOLD

    Hi All,

I've decided to move on to another class. F500 has been a great place to start my (fledgling) racing career, but I think a physically larger and spec class would suit my current needs better. Anyway, that means that I have a lot of F500 stuff to sell to make room in the garage/trailer.

I'd prefer to sell the whole shebang at once, so I'll entertain offers for the package first, but if there are no takers, I'll part it all out. Here's the inventory. A large portion of this wasn't actually on the car when I crashed but was in my spares package:

    • 2000 Red Devil chassis. 2 bent tubes (front right a-arm pickup point and rear brace near axle). Side pods also need straightening.
    • Paddock trailer. Makes it easy to pull the car around either by hand or with atv/golf cart. Also makes it easy to load onto your enclosed trailer without having to mess around with absurdly long ramps, etc.
    • Scissor lift w/ electric winch
    • Engine, fuel & fuel safety:
      • Two 494 engines. One complete, the second is the long block (just needs carbs, ignition). Both should run fine, but I'll test fire before selling.
      • Aaen pipe
      • Aluminum muffler (clamps to end of pipe when needed)
      • Two fuel cells, two fuel cell holders
      • Fire bottle, push style
      • Two fuel pumps
      • Electric starter/relay/etc, with two spare motors.
      • 2 good radiators
      • Many plugs (new & lightly used)
      • Carb jet collection
      • Air boxes, two styles
      • Oil tank
      • Catch can
      • ~4' new spare radiator hose
    • Wheels/Tires (all have been stored in air-conditioned storage room):
      • 7 douglass (I think) wheels with tall tires. 3 of the tires are still good.
      • 4 rains mounted on Douglas (I think) rims
      • 4 never used 18"x7.5" hoosier slicks on kaiser wheels (for autox)
      • 4 lightly used (about 3 or 4 events) 18"x7.5" hoosiers on kaiser wheels (for autox)
      • 20 lug-nuts
    • Clutches: I'm not great at clutch ID, but I think this is what I have
      • Polaris primary and AC secondary that were on the car. Seem to still be fine. Supposedly the standard quadrini-backed setup.
      • Spare polaris(?) primary
      • Spare comet primary
      • Spare artic cat(?) secondary
    • Other clutch related stuff:
      • Two NEW Dayco HPX5008 belts (1 still in box, other just not used)
      • One more belt, looks used but could be used in the event of a failure.
      • 2007 Edition Aaen Clutch Tuning Handbook
      • 2004 Edition of same
      • Puller tool
      • Starter/ring gear
      • Red spring
      • Gold spring
      • Helix: 48-42
      • Helix: 50(?)
      • Lots of weights
    • Other drivetrain related:
      • 2 jackshafts
      • Lots of collars
      • 3 small drive gears: 30, 28, and either 26 or 24, have to check
      • 90 tooth large gear
      • Spare Polychain GT2 8MGT-1440-36
    • Suspension/Brakes:
      • 90-degree balance bar adapter gear
      • 2 front uprights & hubs
      • 2 rear uprights & hubs, updated all-aluminum style
      • 2 rear uprights, 2000 style (1 comes stubbornly attached to an axle, but is otherwise fine)
      • NEW Rear cross-brace kit. Don says that it helps reduce suspension wiggle.
      • 2 spare rear hubs
      • spare brake hub
      • 3 steel parallel links (good, weren't on car when crashed)
      • 3 aluminum parallel links (likewise)
      • Several new bearings for hubs, axle, etc.
      • 3 calipers
      • 2 steering racks, one new round style, one old square style
      • 2 steering shafts, matching above
    • Electric:
      • Aim MyChron 2 dash and lap beacon. 2x EGT, RPM, shift lights, & 2 EGT warning lights.
      • Transponder
      • LED water temp gauge
      • Kill switch
    • Body:
      • 4 SPA mirrors, white, convex
      • Small NACA duct, was used to cool clutches
      • 2 large NACA ducts, for radiators
      • Aluminum diffuser (wasn't on car, so is still useable, although has been off course before)
      • Spare set of threaded aluminum tube and heims for diffuser mounting
      • Nifty plastic side-pods that I made to save weight in autox
      • Head rest

    PM me with any questions,

    -Chris
