    Seattle race 1 results:

    1. Dennis Andraide - 1 :39.996 Vortech
    2. Bob Posner - 1:40.511 Protoform
    3. Quinn Posner - 1:40.705 Protoform
    4. L. LeRoy Coppedge - 1:40.909 VDF
    5. Laury Lundberg - 1:41.262 Caracal
    6. Laura Andrade - 1:41.569 Caracal
    7. Stephen Saslow - 1:40.618 Tsunami
    8. Michael Smith - 1:42. 855 Protoform

The pole sitter (Stephen Saslow) got disconnected from the pack early on and fell back despite turning good lap times throughtout the race. Not sure what happened but he was 'blipping' the engine pretty good on the way to pre-grid.

National race 2 and qual tomorrow.

Seattle Double National at Pacific Raceways - Race 2

    1. Dennis Andrade 1:40.434 Vortech
    2. L. LeRoy Coppedge 1:40.638 VDF1
    3. Bob Posner 1:40.597 Protoform P2
    4. Quinn Posner 1:41.142 Protoform P3
    5. Laury Lundberg 1:41.183 Caracal D
    6. Stephen Saslow 1:42.335 Tsunami MK II
    7. Laura Andrade 1:42.120 Caracal D
    8. Michael C. Smith (no time DNF at 0 laps)

Race 1 was a really close battle with nose-to-tails much of the race.

Today, in race 2, the 'string' started to part ways about half way through the race breaking up into 2 and 3 car groups.

I didn't have a chance to talk with Stephen Saslow, the fastest qualifier for race 1. He came close to equaling his qual time during the first race but faded back before the end. In Race 2 today, his times were off and he fell back quicker. I suspect some mechanical gremlins

During the race, we heard a call from Turn 3B discussing contact between a lapping FF and one of the Vee's (perhaps) but it wasn't too serious as no cars left the race as a result.
