    Default TMS Double National

This past weekend we completed our second double national of the year, this one at Texas Motor Speedway. The weekend went pretty well for us as we took the victory on Saturday and Sunday. We also took the track record on Saturday and bested it again on Sunday. David Burkett did a great job driving all weekend. He was battling with a Pro Mazda and DP02 most of the event and it made for some great racing. Both Stohr F1000's that were racing were at the front of a large field both days. James Michael took second in his Stohr F1000 and was not too far behind us. He improved throughout the weekend.

It ends up being 4 more national entries for FB. Once again these cars are turning quick times and are fitting in right behind the Atlantics, if not beating them in some cases.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Sprints.

Way to go Jeff/TMG and James Michael! Sounds like some great lap times too! FB is definitely growing - SCNA just delivered a new F1000 over the weekend to its new owner in Florida. Road America will be fun in an FB!

We had 3 FB entries at Portland this past weekend at the Regional/National and we started on the front row ahead of all but 1 FA car (actually it was a Pro Mazda registered as a FA on Pole). We turned a 1:11.3 in practice and a 1:12:4 in the race. Mark Jeremko was there in his Stohr DSR and turned a 1:07:9 in the race for the overall win, while starting from the back,... he decided not to run in the rain for qualifying.

    Cheers

Nice job with the race Kyle. It didn't take you long to get up to speed in that thing. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Sprints. Keep the FB entries coming in.
