2006 San Francisco Regional Road Racing Champion KBS Mk. 5 is up for sale. Car has extensive history, including Runoffs appearances, track records and regional championships with Don Clar. Chassis is in fair shape and is perfect for someone just starting out in this class (it is well sorted). Has 4-link rear upgrade.


Rotax 494 w/2 hours on top end rebuild. Parts or spares as following: front arms, drive belts, "shocks", 3 sets of Douglas wheels (1 set rains, 2 sets of Hoosier R25A's), Complete Polaris P85 primary clutch, tons of Comet primary parts, Polaris secondary clutch, boxes of nuts and bolts and knick-knack doo-dads, AIM Drack data acquisition (EGT, RPM), Momo steering wheel and carbon fiber dash panel (gotta have blingbling somewhere!), etc. 2 races on Tilton formula car brake master cylinders and rear Wilwood calipers. Belts are good to 2009. Fresh paint 4/08. Logbook and homologation papers are included (has 2007 annual).


$7500 turn-key (or press-button in this case), ready to rumble. $8000 with single-axle lightweight trailer. Cheap and easy way to get into formula car racing without having a pit crew. You don't even need a cherry picker for the engine.
