    Default Quick question: FM length?

What is the overall length of the standard FM with the nose on and with it off? I'm trying to plan my trailer stuff but I don't have the car here with me.

Oh and another question while I'm at it, how do you guys hang the nose to the wall of the trailer during transport?

MOD: Could someone please move this to the FM general forum? DOH!

I hang my assembled noses on the wall of the trailler with the bottom of the nose against the wall of the trailer, pointy end facing up. I hang the assembly with soft bunge cords wrapped aroung the wings.

The neatest way I've seen is what Chas Shafer does. He has fabricated little pedestals that are mounted on the wall of the trailer. The nose assemblies bolt to the pedestals the same way they attach to the car. Of course the assemblies are also pointing up, bottom of the nose towards the wall.

GTP has a trick setup for VDs. They have a little sub-frame they mount on the chassis after they unbolt the nose. The subframe rises vertically above the car. Then they bolt the nose on the subframe pointing towards the roll bar. So the whole nose is still attached to the car, but mounted backwards above the cowl. They even store the cars in the shop that way
    to save space.

Hey Ted, I didn't see your Yuku post over there. I wasn't notified of the reply for some reason. But thanks for the answer.

As for the wing I'll just figure somethin out. I'm gonna try to make it to T-Hill this weekend so I'm sure I'll see some cool ideas.
