    Default my guess,

if FB gets invite to the runoffs.. I bet the ARRC wont be happening or be to big for FB tunout #'s.. but the june sprints will most likely be the next big place to race.

If FB does the RunOffs you can join us in the Formula S race at the ARRC. Just get your car dual homogated for both classes. Note: to be a legal FS class car it must be modified so it is not FB legal. In other word, in FS cheating is legal!

AFAIK this is not true, as there is nothing in the FB rules which would make the car non-compliant to FS rules. The only "rules issue" you might run into is that the car must weigh a minimum of 750 lbs without driver...unless you specifically request a lower minimum weight on the homologation request.

I think Scott is interpreting the FS rules as saying if a car fits another formula car class, it isn't eligible for FS.

From the Formula S in the GCR (with my highlights):

    G.1. Definition
A formula for purpose built, highly modified single-seat, open-wheel, open
cockpit racing cars, which meet the general regulations of Section 9.
of the GCR for Formula Category cars,
yet are different in concept and
specifications from the current SCCA Formula classes
    . Homologation is
required on ALL Formula S cars.

I think most people who have bothered to comply with this rule have done something easy or minor to their cars to make them illegal for their normal class.

    Ah, yes...thanks Russ!

I can see it now...a DSR motor, carbon bodywork and ~700 lbs. Awesome!

Or a 1150 lb RT5/Hayabusa that has the same HP as a FB car, vintage rocker arm suspension & can't keep up with the FB's! Oh, and Russ, thanks for your support.
