    I would think there would be some way to disable the traction control in the future engines, therefore they would still be legal. Right?

    Default Who's gonna tech it?

    As I recall F1 finally just legalized traction control because the FIA became convinced that everyone was cheating, but they couldn't adequately test for it.

    So (with no disrespect to SCCA officials) do we expect to be able to tech for disabled T/C in club-level racing?

    Which is why next year they will outlaw traction control and require all teams use the same ECU provided by the same team (ironically it is a McLaren unit.) How far down this road do you want to go?
