Default New Photos of Phoenix F1K-07 F1000

The new Phoenix F1K-07 is now decked out with its final graphics, and a touch of a New Mexico theme. I have posted updated photos of the car. After having the car for one week, I just couldn't resist taking the car out around our neighborhood 1.25 mile loop on a Sunday morning. It's not a race track but zero to 70 was pretty quick. It was an awesome ride for the quick 5 laps. Now the test comes at Phoenix International Raceway in mid September. So far from what I have seen Matt Conrad has provided a very high quality build.

    Enjoy the new show.....

Let me know what you think of this beauty. I had several people give advice to cover it up and let it sit for 20 years. That would be so hard to do.

Great looking car. Any chance we can see under the skin? Can't wait to see all these cars together at the AARC!

    Brands......

I will lift off the engine cover this weekend and give you all a close up of the engine and key components. When I first got the car and took off the engine cover I was surprised on how little their was as far as components and equipment. Its a real clean build. Would seem very easy to work on.....Give me a day or two and I will add photos of the hardware to the photoshow.

    Default Phoenix F1K-07 F1000 Photos

I had requests for photos of the engine compartment so I have broken down the photos available into 2 segments:

Glamour Shots of the Phoenix F1K-07:

    Engine Compartment with detailed photos:

Should anyone else need any other photos or would like to see any detailed parts of the car, just let, me know. After you see these photos, you will see why I chose the Phoenix F1K-07 as my F1000 choice. It's a quality build all the way around. Matt Conrad and his design team of aerospace engineers did a fantastic job in creating this beauty.

    Enjoy the shows.......

    Default The Phoenix on track

Here is a picture of Matt in his Phoenix at Sears today.

It was running at the end and nothing fell off, so not too bad for a first time. He was being very careful, with 50+ cars on the track.

He can do the race report later.

    Cheers,

    John

    Default Pride

    Mike,

I saw your post several days ago, but never thought to respond.....until after the last few weekends.

Seeing our first production cars run over the last few weeks was very satisfying to me. For these cars to have been merely sketches on paper a year ago is amazing.

Yesterday was the first chance (unfortunately) to watch one of our cars on track from the sidelines, and as I watched Richard during the race yesterday I turned to my wife and said "no matter what happens, we can always say that we built that car". I did feel a huge sense of pride.
