Bud:

It's refreshing to find someone who is not afraid to speak their mind. Thanks for telling it like it is.

Little by little the truth comes out. For everyone who speaks out, there are probably ten saying amen. Some of these people no longer race in VARA.

You've raced in HSR-West, so you have your own opinion. This is what we have found:

Formula Ford racing with HSR-West has been a most pleasant experience for Holladay Racing. Everyone, ED Swart, the officials, flag crew and all the drivers welcomed us with open arms.

Our opinion: The best Formula Ford drivers race in HSR-West. On track there is a respect amongst all drivers for the other FF driver and his racecar. There is trememdous competition in HSR-West, but side-by-side racing without incident is commonplace. No one wants their car damaged. No contact is the rule in HSR-West.

There is an unequaled camradarie amongst all the HSR-West Formula Ford drivers. Everyone bends over backwards to lend a hand with parts and labor when needed. There have been no tech problems and there has been no frequent rule changes. Every effort is made to make racing with HSR-West a pleasant experience. We have not found one HSR-West official who sought to impress us with his credentials. It's a different world in HSR-West.

Thanks for speaking out.

The best of racing luck to you,

Richard Holladay,
