Default Will the LRP July race be bleak for CF

    Hi:
I'm trying to get my car repaired to make the July 4th regional at LRP.
I noticed on the registration site that there is only one NCF listed.
Is everyone waiting until the last minute to register?
Please jump in if you're planning on going?
I would like to make it to the podium at LRP at least once in my life , but not because no one else showed up.
    Regards,

Greg, Maybe people are starting to feel the entry fee's at LRP. I just got a letter from NNJR saying that the july national entry fee will be $425 ! The letter also points out that it works out to $4.75 per minute of track time. What a deal !

    Greg,
I am entered in both FF and NCF, though the online lists do not reflect that fact, I believe Frank DelVecchio is going to "do the double" as well, though there is a possibility the groups will be altered to include NCF with FF and FC/etc.
But if they insist on splitting us up I will race twice again as I did last weekend.
I don't know about the other 6 runners from last weekend, Rod K, Don Denomme, Geoff Rainville, Alan Van De Weghe, or Jim MacNichol.
Or Steve Roux, or AJ Walker, or anyone else for that matter.
But I do know that Frank and I will be running and I suspect many of the regulars as well.

Motor is almost all back together. If it squirts oil to all of the appropraite places, I'll be there.

Default Lime Rock - July 4th

Even with the ignition module failure on the way to the grid for the last race - this is still the very best bang for the buck in racing. I raced my 111th different race car in a sanctioned race in May and NCF still has the best grins....

Plus - most of us are old gray haired guys - so no excuse for you young tigers to get on the podium.

We will be there on the 4th.

I'm in. I've been traveling and had to miss the last LRP. It will be nice to have a couple of NCF to run around with. The NHIS double was a little dull lapping the FV's by myself. The checkers from it will be turned in to curtians for the trailer.

Default Will July LRP race be bleak for CF

    Hi:
It sounds like the usual group of suspects will be at the track.
    Thanks to everyone who answered.
The engine is back at the builders and if everything works out we'll plan on being there in 2 weeks.

Just as an FYI [god I hate that ......] "they" have moved NCF from the FV/500 group into FF/FC/Fetc. So ain't none of us "doing the double".

    Default Club Ford ?

Dam, and I just finished ty-rap/duct taping a spare set of shocks in the outboard location on the Bowman so I could do the double as a NCF. Better cancel my Dunlop order.

Default LRP - NARRC Town Hall meeting

    Hi All,

Here's a perfect opportunity to voice your opinions about grouping FFs, NCFs, Vees, etc. - at least in the Northeast...

FYI (that one's just for you, Mikey):
The North Atlantic Road-Racing Championship (NARRC) Committee has announced a Town Hall meeting to discuss the series during Northern New Jersey Region's August 10-11 race at Lime Rock Park.
