1996/2002 Formula Mazda FM For Sale

Originally a 1996 car. Frame and many suspension components replaced, engine rebuilt, and transmission blue printed in 2002. Since that time, the car has the equivalent of one full season on it and has not been raced since the middle of 2003. The car has a PI system 1 data acquisition system and an uninstalled C-dash. Comes with 2 additional sets of wheels, one of which has a decent set of rains mounted. The car also includes a radio wiring harness and car cover. Always professionally maintained by Velocity Motorsports, a Pro series team and FM dealer.

Asking $18,000 OBO. Reasonable offers considered.

Shocks: Double Adjustabe
Calipers: Iron on front, Aluminum in rear
Roll Bar: Updated
Manifold: Not sure when it was changed, but the car ran Star in 2002 and SCCA National/Pro in 2003, so it's fully updated through 2003
Exhaust: Same as manifold
Belly Pan: Stainless Steel (90% sure on this one)
Motor: Sealed
I don't know the exact time on the motor.
I don't know the exact time on the gearbox.
Log Book: The car does have a SCCA logbook
Suspension Bearings: Hard to guess at the time on them as they have been replaced at various times.
Seat belts: Dated in 2002...not currently legal
Spare Nose: No
Other Spares: None as this car was run out from under the tent of Velocity's fully stocked trailer.

FWIW I've only heard great things about the cars the Bryan has and racees. Even if some of them aren't open wheel.

Try the FM forum. An example you should take a hard look at is a week old ad for a nice car in Fla with spares and an inexpensive enclosed trlr.
