1992 Reynard Formula Continental. Highly developed car with many updates and improvements. Van Diemen Rear wing and '97 diffuser. Aero development and electrical and mechanical improvements.
2001/02 EMRA/FPR FC1 Championship car with numerous top 3 finishes. 3rd in points 2006. I have raced car for 10 years- it is fast, clean and equal in performance to a 95-97 Van Diemen.
MWE Engine with 15 races since last rebuild.good compression- head work done by Curtis Boggs of Racing Flow Development.
Accel electronic ignition and electronic distibutor with magnetic pickup.
Oil cooler in sidepod with additional vents, Aluminum radiators.
AP clutch, Dbl adjustable Koni's.
Brakes - LD20 Front, LD19 rear.
Averil Ultra Front wing with updated Needle Nose. updated suspension arms with camber adjusters. reinforced nose box , aluminum steering rods.
onboard electrical Fire suspression system. Full dash with Stack Tach, oil press., oil temp., water temp., low oil press. warning light, high water temp. warning light, shift light

this is an excellent car. extremely well maintained and an excellent club/classic continental for the money. it is mechanically sound without dnf's to my knowledge over the 2 years i have competed against it. additionally it is a cosmetically appealling car....and lindsey will post pictures to back me up as soon as he reads my post.....right lindsey?....ric

I had a great time with the Reynard; loved how the car handled and all the things I did to make it faster. But after 10 years I figured it was time to get something newer (Zetec) and let someone else enjoy the car.

I have a set of triple adjustable Penske shocks that I used on this car. I have them for sale for $3500. These shocks were built and maintained by Joe Stimola of SRP Engineering.They cost $5000 new; I will sell them for a reduced price of $2500 with the car.
This is a one of a kind Reynard that will compete head to head with the 95-97 Van Diemens.

Richard, I would be happy to sell you any parts you need but I have to wait until the car is sold. I want to give it a week and then if it is not sold you can have the spare nose/wings(needle nose- averill ultra wings), suspension pieces, and either the Panasport or Techno. wheels. and any other parts you need.

Sounds good, hope you get the package sold but if not please let me know and we'll make the necessary arrangements and go over your spares package in more detail. BTW, for everyone out there over the last year on Apexspeed that helped get my rather difficult remanufacture & assembly into something resembling an FC, here's a pic from the shakedown at Hallett. We got it into the mid 1:17's down there and with the 15 years of rust on my butt we're looking forward to tuning in the car as well as me...lots of work to do in both areas.

Lindsey, I'd be intrested in the Techno's (Swift Db-6 Style) if they match up with what I have....

If you can take some dims (or Visa Versa) just to make sure they fit. I'll get to the trailer tonite and snap a few pics & take some dimensions.

Does the Reynards have more or less cockpit room than an early Van Diemens ? How tall of a driver will it fit ?

this car has way more room than the Van Diemen- more body room , more room at the knees and will support a driver over 6 feet. I'm 5'6" with the pedals moved back. I keep my radio on the floor next to my hip and there is room behind the seat for my video camera recorder.
