Jim Dietz and I were the only FFs there. Jim was dealing with an engine misfire all weekend and pulled out of the race early. I just kept it on the track and collected the points.

It was really hot all weekend. It was my first time at Nelson Ledges. It's a fun track. Very fast. A little bumpy in spots, but not as bad as IRP. The facilities were OK. The workers were super friendly. Very informal. No hassles whatsoever. The EWC should have a good time there.

Our group was the first race after lunch and the only PA announcement was at about the 5 min mark. I was late to the grid and had to start from the pit lane. At least one FC was late too and had to start from the back of the field.
