CanAm Cup

Hi all,

Not sure how many of you know about this yet, but wanted to pass on the announcement about the CanAm Cup.

Using the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy as a mold, the CanAm Cup has been announced up in Canada. It is going to be a premier trophy race for the Formula Ford class. For the inaugural race, we are expecting close to 50 FF's battling it out at Mosport. Set to run September 30-October 1, FormulaCar Magazine and eformulacarnews.com will provide full-coverage of the event. Great idea! I wish I lived closer to Toronto, Mosport is my kind of track. What would really be nice if we had a common tire between the Canada and the US racers and if the venue would alternate between Canada and the States every year IMHO. -Dave
