Yes, not to get too sidetracked from the Vette for sale, Pops has been laid off from a company that no longer respects the job he does (change of management). Anyone know of an opening in the Southwest Chicagoland area for a top notch toolmaker/machinist with more years of experience than I am in age? Sorry to hear the news. I suspect that you've already discounted the racing machine shops in the area like M1 Toolworks & TDI (neither of which are very near the southwest side...)
At least you'll have the opportunity to see the Sox parade tomorrow without playing hooky.
